I thought this was a good book for someone who cannot follow simple rule of ...

I thought this was a good book for someone who cannot follow simple rule of society and thinks life is just a bed of roses and their choices hurt other people. After having this type of person invade my family who thinks quite differently I knew the person who was going to read this book would have plenty of time to do so and possibly they may just change their entire outlook on life and focus on values. I think this author with his experience drove some pretty harsh words to awaken those who think the welcome wagon is going to be sitting in the parking lot when they are finally released. I am certainly glad this author found the simple things in life ere in fact the very best things.

If you are a felon and you desperately want to stay out of prison but you are struggling to find a map to guide you through the process, then please read this book. The author does a fantastic job of explaining the challenges that lye ahead while breathing inspiration to the reader.

This book opened my eyes to how difficult it can be to stay out of prison upon an inmate's release. I'm young and never been in trouble but I learning how to sympathize with folks who have been to prison and not judge so quickly. This book is a step by step guide on how a person not only can stay out of prison, but become the best version of themselves by re-evaluating and adapt to being out by reorganizing their life from the company you keep to the life skills needed to maintain the stability to stay out of the penal system.

I bought this book for Samory Monds. He is the reviewer. Lana Mitchell Getting Out & Staying Out: A Black Man's Guide to Success After prison, is a good book (guide) for anyone who is in prison or who has just gotten out of prison. All of the points that Mr. Boothe makes are valid, and I think will help you to reach the goal of staying out. He, Demico Boothe, speaks about planning and having discipline, which are the only ways a man coming out of prison, Black or White, will stay out. I like that he gears the book towards Blackmen, who really need a guide on how to beat the odds. I plan, after my release, and during my current prison sentence, to implement his guide, to help me meet my goals and become a better person.

Great for my need

I chose this book for help with a school project. It fit the bill. The information was helpful for my need but is also helpful for someone who needs to stay out of jail. Actually, this book would be helpful for anyone who needs direction on being consistent with life. I congratulate Mr. Boothe for his efforts in helping others with his testimony.
