NEVER GOING BACK TO ANY OTHER SEALANT EVER AGAIN. ON A GASKET WHEN CALLED OUT, THIS IS THE STUFF. BTW . PLEASE NOTE! HEAR ME NOW , BELIEVE ME LATER! THE OPEN OR POT TIME IS KINDA SHORT SO PREP OF THE ASSEMBLY , AND PERHAPS A DRY/MOCK RUN (NECESSARY FASTENERS HAND TOOLS GASKET DOWEL LIGHTING IN OR NEAR POSITION IN PROPER ORDER ETC) BECOMES VERY IMPORTANT .... YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE REMOVING THIS SEALANT. SO IF YOURE NOT GONNA STAY WITHIN GUIDELINES , OR NOT COMPLETELY READY FOR FITTING AND OR NEED A THIRTY MINUTE POT TIME??? JUST GET WHAT YOU KNOW AND LEAVE THIS FACTORY PROFESSIONAL PRODUCT FOR THE DEALERSHIP

I've done a dozen or so timing covers/oil pans with this stuff and as long as the surface is clean, works perfectly. Much better than the generic gray/low viscosity RTVs you can get from the parts store. My hands are pretty used to having terrible/carcinogenic chemicals on them, but I advise that you try not to get this stuff on your skin. Got some on my arm the first time I used it and it burned like crazy!

Definitely an OEM product. I bought this while fighting an oil pan leak. Everyone says that permatex gasket maker is the exact same thing as this. And I can say they are not and that those people are full of crap. The permatex stuff is a little thicker. This stuff is thinner and very easy to make a mess of. Seriously be careful with this stuff. It is thinner than expected and stains a lot of surfaces. Not for sure if the vescosity makes any difference though. All I know is that this is not just permatex.

Gave my Honda Odyssey an extra 500 hp. Now I can beat a Tesla on the drag strip. Seriously though, works as expected, I used it for sealing the corners of the rear valve cover on a 3rd gen Odyssey as per the factory service manual. No leaks, easy to use. It's a huge tube for a small project, but it works for the oil pan too, which I need to remove/replace soon so there you go.

Used it on the air adapter for the carb on my XR650. Tuning the pumper carb involved a lot of fuel splashing back onto the machined, silicone sealed adapter. Its the only silicone I tried that didn't leave me with an air leak after pulling said carb. Itd pretty soaked, a little soft, but the seal never fails. Still holds now 5 months and dozens of removals later. I hate the mess, but its the only silicone I use now.

Use on gaskets for mu 1972 motorcycle which had oil leaks. This stop the leaks. Easy to use and easy to remove. I was told about this product and now I tell others. I am100% sold on the use and durability of the bound.

It's Hondabond 4. It's the real deal, super-sticky adhesive that is great for installing replacement weatherstripping. Not much else to say but it completely met my expectations.

This stuff is great. I recently replaced the clutch on my 2005 Honda Shadow Aero 750. I used this as a gasket for the primary cover. It was easy to apply and dried quickly. Several months later, no leaks. Very happy.

I've been using this stuff for the last 4 or 5 years works better than any other silicone that I've used yet and I've been using products like this for over 30 years.

This is great stuff, provides a really good seal on slightly porous surfaces. Very good for gasket adherence and removal of gasket later on.
